Our client is well established within the Sports team apparel market and continues to grow with the aim of dominating the market. Established over 14 years ago, the company has gone from strength to strength through their innovative range, excellent customer service and fastest delivery times from its UK-made range. They are passionate about what they do, constantly striving to develop their products, the business and their staff, keeping the customer experience paramount.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the UK sales director you will be required to:

  • Identify new business opportunities in grassroots and education sectors
  • Prepare tenders and proposals
  • Aim for 5 sales meetings per week at customer locations within the appropriate region
  • Engage with a diverse range of customers including Club Committees, Directors of Sports, Head Coaches and Sports Managers
  • Pitch and present the range of products, ensuring their visual impact
  • Maximise the existing accounts within the region through frequent visits, selling and replenishment of new and existing products
  • Achieve key KPIs as agreed such as annual spend by partnership
  • Provide first-class support and customer service
  • Act as a brand ambassador

The successful applicant:

  • Will have a proven track record in Sales, selling to grassroots sports and the education sector would be an advantage
  • Should be a proven account manager and business development professional
  • Must be an effective communicator, presenter and negotiator
  • A self-motivated, resilient go-getter, who is driven, determined and ambitious
  • Be extremely personable, with a cheerful and confident nature
  • Ideally have an interest in sports and/or sports clothing
  • Occasionally there may also be some international travel or travel to other parts of the UK
  • You must have a full, ideally clean, UK driving license
