Our client is a long-established and successful construction and maintenance business, offering a bespoke design and build service to clients in the private and public sectors. They have built up a large and reputable service division working throughout the UK.

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join an established and friendly team.

Our client is a small, friendly and welcoming business and this position is varied, therefore a flexible approach is required as no two days will be the same.  You will work in an open plan office with 2 or 3 others and at times, maybe work alone.

Hours of work are 8 am-4.30 pm or 8.30 am to 5 pm. This is an office-based role.

Daily Tasks to include:

  • Admin support for Project Manager and Director
  • Screening telephone calls and handling enquiries
  • Organising diaries and making appointments
  • Dealing with post and e-mail enquiries
  • Filing and retrieving information and documents
  • Processing orders
  • Liaising with other members of staff i.e. engineers, contractors
  • Reviewing jobs and escalating where required
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Ordering parts/chemicals with suppliers
  • Overseeing deliveries and allocating jobs
  • Taking payment for shop sales
  • Deployment of jobs to engineers
  • Dealing with discrepancies/disputes
  • Customer service calls
  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested

Experience in Health & Safety and HR procedures would be advantageous
